Sometimes you come across such a simple idea and think, "Why didn't I think of that?" and the Bookmarker by Simple Form Design is definitely one of those times. It's a bookmark with integrated sticky notes attached making it super easy to flag your favorite pages in a magazine or jot down a note as a reminder in a book.

New York-based Craig Ward is an award-winning designer (multiple times over), as well as a TED speaker, and he's compiled his years of design knowledge into the upcoming book, Popular Lies About Graphic Design. There are no hard and fast rules with design, although some people would like you to think that there are, so Ward has taken on the task of clearing up the misconceptions.

I just got my hands on a new book by Linda O'Keeffe called Stripes: Design Between the Lines. We don't talk much about books here, but I have to admit that this had me at the cover. If you love everything about parallel lines, then this book is some serious eyecandy.
