Oki Sato, Chief Designer and founder of Nendo design studio, created a stunning landscape at the Stockholm Furniture Fair.

Nendo's new furniture collection looks as if it is peeling away, or splintering. The series includes a chair, coatrack, mirror, and tables.

Nendo partnered with Coca-Cola in a new collection of tableware made from recycled bottles. Bottleware makes use of the iconic 1916 "contour bottle", the ones that are continually collected, rinsed, and reused over and over again. Once these particular bottles couldn't be used again for their original purpose, Nendo got to work and created this set that was recently exhibited at DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2012.

Seeking a new way to finish wooden surfaces besides the typical varnish and paint, the Japanese design studio Nendo created the Fishline Chair. Using dyed fishing line, they wound it tightly around the wooden chair giving it a varnish-like shine. In the process, it made the wood grain pop while adding a subtle hint of color.
