Fresh From The Dairy: Eyecandy

This week I chose eyecandylicious artwork for The Design Milk Dairy, DM’s curated collection of Society6 artwork. I started in a totally different direction but when I spotted these three pieces, I knew I had to add them — there is something captivating about each one that made me stop and gaze just a little longer…

Fresh From The Dairy: Happy Time

I have a lot on my plate this week, and I could use a pick-me-up so I decided that this week I’d choose artwork for The Design Milk Dairy that simply made me happy. Everyone needs art that makes them smile, and these are just a few pieces that give me a tiny moment of happiness. I hope that they make you smile, too.

Fresh From The Dairy: Mountains

When I chose this week’s prints for The Design Milk Dairy, our collection of Society6 artist prints and accessories, I had one thing in mind: fresh mountain air. All I have been thinking about lately are mountains and their natural beauty. I wanted to curate a few prints this week that were inspired by these oppressive rocks that demand our respect. Instead of choosing a photograph, I wanted to choose more abstract-style and graphic prints that capture the essence of the mountain.

Fresh From The Dairy: Soft Art

Love Story by Amelia Kay Photography

This week, I discovered some artwork that I found to be romantic and soft, smooth and soothing. A mixture of abstract, photography, and graphic art, these pieces are certainly different, but somehow seem to evoke the same sense of calm.

American Quilt Prints by Little Things Studio

American Quilt Prints by Little Things Studio

Kate Thomas of Little Things Studio sent me over her new American Quilt prints. Each of these prints – Hancock, Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson – are named after one of America’s Founding Fathers. I’ve recently talked about modern quilts, and have been starting to see them pop up more and more. Buy them in the Little Things Studio Etsy shop.

Fresh From The Dairy: Rewind Part 2

Last week, I added a few pieces of art that evoked a feeling of nostalgia to The Design Milk Dairy and this week I’m continuing that trend with a few new pieces.

Fresh From The Dairy: Rewind

By now you probably already know about The Design Milk Dairy, our curated art collection. Are any of you selling your prints on Society6? I would love to see your artwork for consideration for The Dairy!

This is probably not going to be my first series of curated prints that looks back to the past, but I wanted to gather a selection of prints that reminisce about something, whether old technology, architecture of the past, or nostalgic music — as these pieces depict.

Fresh From The Dairy: 50 and 50

This week, I didn’t add any prints to our Society6 curated art collection, The Design Milk Dairy. Instead, I’ve chosen to share a brand new collection just launched by Society6 called 50 and 50.

Curated by Dan Cassaro, the project pairs an artist with a US state. The artist must illustrate that state’s motto. I love this idea! Here are some of my faves:

Fresh From The Dairy: Geometry & Nature

By now you’re probably aware of our Society6 curated art collection, The Design Milk Dairy. Each week, I have been adding new prints to the collection, usually on a theme. The DMD offers prints for sale along with iPhone cases, t-shirts, laptop skins, and more in support of the online art community, something I’m very passionate about.

I would LOVE to have you join me in suggesting some of your favorite prints to be included in the collection. Browse Society6 here. Or, join and start selling your own prints!

This week I’ve chosen art that mixes nature with geometric designs, and — as a bonus — rainbows. Who knew there would be more than one print on this theme?
