Mid-Century Modern Design Flash Card Set by Jen Renninger
Jen Renninger finally turned her awesome modern paintings in to a flash card set. Each card has the name of the designer and a retro style pattern on the back on the card. The limited edition, numbered and signed set includes 26 cards with a small booklet with info about the designers.
Wheelbarrow Chair by Karl Sanford
Who says you have to employ a PR agent to get your work out there? Certainly not Karl Sanford whose wife submitted his Wheelbarrow Chair to us. Her pitch caught my eye and the clever design backed it up so we just had to post about it. I've seen chairs made from wheelbarrows before but none with the leg detail this one has.

Chuck Anderson of NoPattern Meets Turnstone's Paper Table
You might know Chuck Anderson better as NoPattern, where galactic rainbows and vibrant explosions of movement rule. Turnstone recently gave Chuck a week to make a piece of art with their doodle-friendly Paper Table, and the result is a circular bubbly cloud-like world of color.
Gallery House by atelier rzlbd
Designed by Reza Aliabadi of atelier rzlbd, the 6000-square-foot wood and steel Gallery House is located in the northern edge of Toronto. It's a single family home that takes its cues from institutional architecture where all of the rooms connect off of a long hallway or galleria. The space acts as the spine of the house, allowing the rooms to face in such a way that they have northern and southern exposures, along with views.
London Design Festival 2012: David Irwin
If there was a "man of the match" for the London Design Festival, I think David Irwin would be it - his name just seemed to pop up everywhere. He had his own stand within 100% Design's Emerging Designers section and his products also featured on Deadgood's stand and on the Designers In Residence stand at designjunction. Everywhere I turned - there he was, and with good reason. His products are gorgeous!

Graphic Textiles by Johanna Gullichsen
Design Milk was lucky enough to visit textile designer Johanna Gullichsen's shop during Helsinki Design Week and it was most impressive. The Finnish company creates woven fabrics in Gullichsen's signature patterns that you can purchase, but they also turn them into an assortment of bags, pillows, and various kitchen items.
Tiger from Hello Wood 2012 Art Camp
Hello Wood is a weeklong art camp in Hungary where 200 young people, led by various architects and designers, come together and create projects for eight different Hungarian communities. The students, with the help of their mentors, come up with ideas based on the socio-economic concerns of these specific regions. The eight projects are then presented to the communities during a party at the week's end.
